For the last few weeks I have been worried as to where we will hold our worship service. The venue we were using closed their establishment. Last night I did this “venue hunt” and honestly it was very tiring. I did not use my car to save gas and avoid traffic so I took train and did a lot of walkathon. The initial place was okay but I was still a bit hesitant as there is no concrete privacy of the space. After that I still tried to look for other alternatives but I wasn’t successful because it was either fully booked or very small. So I decided to go home after four hours of hunting. When I reached the train station near my house, I saw this one hotel and someone pushed and whispered me to go and check it. Fortunately, the hall is so big and available – exactly to what I was picturing out and praying for.

Sometimes we settle for the things that are already available or sufficient enough. But our Lord wants something more than enough and He wants the best for us. Let’s aim for higher things and do not settle for less. Continue to declare and claim increase in every aspect of our lives. Our God is the God of wonders and He can do bigger that will leave us in awe. Do not settle for “it is okay” but be excited for “that is great!” as we have an awesome God.
