We always say that prayer is the most powerful tool we have against distress and He always listen. This verse assures us that our prayers reach the ears of God. He neither refuses nor ignore our petitions. In the bible, we are commanded to call upon Him and be assured that He will answer. This is not about whether God answers our prayers. Rather, it is how He responds. Sometimes He will answer directly with a “Yes” and let’s be honest, we all want that kind of response. But that is not always the case, He is unpredictable and His answer can be delayed and that is a good thing because we learn to depend and trust God. Remember that timing is everything – it is not just about giving us “what” is the best for us but He also wants to give us “when” it is best for us. There will be instances that the answer will be “No” because something better is coming down the road. He has better plans and has His own direction for our life. Jump into His timeline and lifeplan for us. Be confident in knowing that God will always hear and answer our prayers. Continue to trust God’s faithfulness and wisdom.
