Today, I was reminded that obedience must comes first in any circumstances that we have. Whether we are on cloud nine or on the land of desperation – one thing never changes and that is the word of God. We are commanded not to worry so we should do it and obey what He has told. Consider also that there are only two standards – right and wrong. What was right and wrong thousand years ago is still right and wrong today. So let’s not try to twist the words of God for our own convenience. Let’s not misinterpret just because it is popular and the new trend. We have to obey His words. So right now we can’t have that excuse – ‘you don’t know what I am going through now so I can’t do it’… Following Him sometimes can be uncomfortable but know that God has higher understanding than ours and we can’t see what He sees. He is looking far beyond our future so we have to be in synch with the path that He laid down for us. On our journey to obedience, we’ll leave behind old habits, old attitudes, old sins and old ways of thinking. When you allow Him to guide you, God offers not only a full and satisfying journey through life but a home for all eternity.
